Quick Artisan Bread

Baking bread seems like a daunting task. The kneading, the rising, the waiting, it can all be overwhelming and many times unsuccessful.

That is why I was thrilled to find this No-Knead Bread Recipe that requires hardly any effort or money (bonus), however it does require a lot of time. I am talking at least 24 hours because it needs to rise. It is delicious and almost fail-proof, but I am never able to whip up a loaf to serve with dinner the same day. I always have to plan one day in advance.

This past week I set out on a quest to find a bread recipe that did not require a lot effort, and that could be made within an afternoon.

Seeing as my whole family was together and a snow storm was about to hit, I thought a pot of Roasted Potato Leek Soup, and a loaf of homemade bread would be the perfect accompaniment to the bone-chilling weather.

This 5 Minute Artisan Bread Recipe proved to be a success! It could not have been easier to make, or more delicious. Of course, my new KitchenAid Stand Mixer helped with the kneading, although you can easily mix it with your hands, no problem.

There is nothing more satisfying than the moment you place your perfectly golden crusted bread on the table, and everyone’s eyes light up. The “ooh’s” and “aah’s” are endless.

This week, give homemade bread a try!
